Coastal Cheer Sensation will be hosting a Tumble-A-Thon, with all proceeds going to the Children's Hospital of The Kings Daughters (CHKD), on May 16, 2009 from 11am to 2pm.

Admission Fee: $5

How It Works: Participants will get sponsors from friends and family for their participation in the event.

Open Team Meeting

Jake and Becca are going to start an open team --- and the open team consists of cheerleaders who are 18 and above.

They are planning a meeting at the gym on July 26th at 4:00 for anyone interested.

Please pass the word around as they are very excited about being able to continue cheering and keep up their skills they worked so hard to obtain.

If you have any questions, ask Jake, Becca or myself --- we will be glad to fill you in!!!!!!

July 1st Coastal Weekly

Just a few things this week, please remember that the gym will be closed Friday through Sunday July 4th thru July 6th this week for 4th of July weekend. ENJOY!!!!!

Tonight is Spirit Night at Chickfila on Lynnhaven Parkway. Hopefully it will be a successful night.

We only have a month to clean out those closets and gather things for the yard sale on August 2nd. We can store some stuff at the gym. If everyone comes up with a couple boxes of stuff we should be good.

The Krispy Kreme order forms are in the mailboxes but we have decided to pre-sell the boxes for 5.00 per box instead of the 6.00 that is listed. I will be changing out the ones that are in boxes but if you have already picked yours up you can either use the old one or ask for a new one. The due date for the pre-orders will July 16th. They will be delivered on July 19th. Extra boxes will be ordered and we will sell them in the courtyard area between the nail shop and BJ’s front door.

Don’t forget that we are still selling the Entrée Vous coupons. Those are 5.00 each. Also remember that we are still trying to sell plywood through the MyWood campaign. Each sheet is 20.00. If you want to buy a sheet or have a sheet sold, please turn in the money as soon as possible. The sooner we have the money the sooner we can get our spring floor.

I have added two new car washes to the calendar for July 13th and August 9th. Both are at the BP at 1373 Great Neck Road.

Keep the ideas flowing. I have followed up on each one of them. Most have lead to other options.
